Discover Iberia, the land of promise and fortune where that elusive creature “Nick” is thought to live. Discoveriberia is a Spanish phrase meaning “he who does not pay his web design or hosting invoices”, it is also the warning call of the “Nick” and can be heard from many miles away, even in the USA where they make their nest in websites hosted on unwitting servers.
The mating call of the “nick” is a long whining sound like this: “can I pay next week, I promise to pay you” but in the height of season you can sometimes hear “hello, its nick from discover iberia, can I pay next week as I have a lot of money due then” Be careful how you approach the “Nick” as even a softly spoken “can you pay your invoices” can result in the “Nick” running very quickly in a zig zag fashion while squawking very loudly “discoverIberia, discover Iberia” until you get fed up with the noise and move away from him.
For some time there have been sightings of “Nick” by spotters from all over the world, these spotters (also known as “Baliffs”) generally congregate around the Legal sector but venture into the countryside in search of “Nick” when encouraged to do so. So there we have it, the “Nick” is a parasitic type of creature locally known as 'Discover Iberia' (the latin for this is “cannotus paybillius”) that nests its site in webservers then runs away when payment is requested
